Wouldn't it be great to link any object directly to a 'video memory' or an article of text describing its history or background? Tales of Things allows just that with a quick and easy way to link any media to any object via small printable tags known as QR codes. How about tagging a building, your old antique clock or perhaps that object you're about to put on eBay?
Connecting "real world objects" to "cyber world info" :-)
This is an example of how each bus stop in the County of Rogaland, Norway, is being equipped with individual QR Codes, which, when scanned, bring current info on bus departures to your mobile phone.
By this AUG-2010, this installation covers more than 2.800 QR codes and 1.200 stops. More will follow in the coming couple of months.
-do not know of any similar mass-coverage of QR codes in Norway so far.
Note, "meta-fun": you might wanna try to scan the QR in this photo, too!

This is a really nice use of qrcodes - very impressed by Rogaland. If they used a TalesofThings tag people could leave stories of their time at the bus stop on the bus :)

Thanks, Smithee ! I have already proposed to TalesofThings/TOTeM the following: what if they could interpret our already existing QR-codes? Meaning: If you scan the bus stop QR Code with your regular QR reader, your browser opens to display bus departure info. However, if you scan using the TalesOfThings-App, the code is instead treated as a Thing, allowing to leave stories at TalesOfThins.com ! -could this work?

When you're in the corner and have no cash to go out from that point, you would have to take the <a href="http://bestfinance-blog.com">loan</a>. Just because that should help you for sure. I get bank loan every single year and feel fine just because of this.
